Stamford College is one of 12 private colleges appointed to offer the BURSARY PROGRAMME established by Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia.
Who's eligible?
All SPM students who scored 9A+'s and above in SPM 2011.
The Ministry of Education Malaysia announced recently that all 1,609 students who scored 9A+'s and above in SPM 2011 will automatically be offered a bursary for pre-university programmes. The programmes includes:
- A Levels programme
- Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM)
- Matriculation programmes under the Education Ministry
- Foundation programmes under the Higher Education Ministry and
- The International Baccalaureate (IB)
Students completing their Pre-University studies under this programme will be eligible for the Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) scholarships to further their tertiary studies at local or overseas universities from 2014 onwards, if they meet the required criteria.
