11 February 2011 : The Year of the Rabbit was ushered in at Stamford College with a traditional Lion Dance amidst pomp and ceremony. Students, staff ad guests cheered as the traditional Lion Dance was performed at the foyer of the college, watched in amazement by all. Guest of Honour, Datuk Michael Chong, MCA Head of Public Services and Complaints Department, in his speech, mentioned that he makes it a point every to be part of the Stamford celebrations, as he has a long-standing relationship with the college.
