Stamford English Language Centre (SELC) caters to the needs of secondary school students and college students as well as working adults. Students can attend courses on full-time or part-time basis at the centre. As for group employees of corporate clients, courses can be customised and conducted either at SELC or the client's premises.

SELC conducts the following courses for secondary school students :

This course prepares students:
   - To develop reading and literature appreciation skills,
   - To develop critical and analytical thinking in relation to literary texts,
   - To help formulate responses to the texts,
   - To enhance writing skills for literary texts, and
   - To acquire examination techniques and strategies.

In addition, the course aims to foster the love of literature in students and to demonstrate that literature study can be highly enjoyable, stimulating and rewarding.
