Overview

 

The Bachelor of Hospitality (Management) from the University of Ballarat is an innovative degree which integrates vocational and academic learning into a well-rounded hospitality-focused management degree. The degree reflects the changing roles and responsibilities of a senior hospitality manager incorporating hospitality industry skills, management concepts and theories that will provide graduates with the necessary skills, knowledge and values to meet the global demand for highly skilled senior managers in the hospitality industry. Students are assessed through a range of tasks during the program including written reports, assignments, group projects, case studies, oral presentations and formal examinations. This knowledge and skill will be further consolidated by completing an internship in an area of specialisation or by completing a hospitality workplace project at the end of the program.
