Overview

 

The University of Ballarat (UB) is Australia’s only regional multi-sector university. Career Opportunities

 

This program is designed for aspiring or current middle level managers to upgrade their skills and qualifications to prepare them to access career opportunities which become evident to them in their current employment or new opportunities with alternative employers.

 

 

Course Structure:

 

The Master of Business Administration consists of 12 courses, each worth 15 credit points, for a total of 180 credit points. Students will complete:

 

  • Six Core Courses
  • Five Elective Courses
  • One Capstone Courses

 

 

Entry Requirement:

 

The MBA program is intended for people who have an undergraduate degree and/ or extensive experience working within an organisation.

 

Candidates should have:

 

  • Successful completion of an Australian bachelor degree or overseas equivalent’*
  • A minimum of 2 years work experience
  • Provide a referee’s report

 

*Applicants holding other academic or professional qualifications and/or with five years relevant work experience may also be granted admission to the program following an assessment of their ability to benefit from the program.
