Overview

 

This Certificate in Teaching programme is designed to provide some aspects of pedagogical skills to teachers, trainers, and other interested personnel who do not have formal teacher education qualification. It has been validated by the Malaysian Government Human Resources Development Ltd.(Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Bhd)  under its HRDF/PROLUS scheme.

 

Specifically, this programme has the following core objectives:

 

  • To contribute to the improvement of teaching and learning in educational institutions or work organizations
  • To enhance the professional development of individual teachers, trainers, and other interested personnel
  • To develop the knowledge, understanding and skills of teachers, trainers, and other interested personnel in relation to the course modules

 

 

Career Opportunities:

 

Lecturers or teachers at secondary and tertiary educational institutions

 

 

Entry Requirements:

 

  • Post-secondary education with proficiency in English

 

 

Duration:

 

Four 8-hour sessions, totalling 32 hours

Part Time
